Dave searches for elusive picture at swan lake

Photographer Dave Ikin has been watching the progress of a new swan family in one of Northampton’s many pocket parks.

Having spotted the nest and the eggs he watched out for developments on his daily dog walks and was hoping to get a shot of the swan chicks riding on their mother’s back before they learn to swim.

Unfortunately the chance did not come up and the young swan family are now happily swimming around together.
