Celebrate spring with a hamper full of top quality local produce courtesy of Smith’s Farmshops and Sauls of Spratton.
The two local heroes have teamed up to put together a prize basket of goodies for an NQ reader who can tell us what they think Northamptonshire’s best food or drink treat is and why.
Smiths has shops at Chapel Brampton and Billing and stocks up with fresh fruit and veg and a wide range of goods created nearby.
That includes tasty offerings from Sauls of Spratton, as famous for their quality meat and great service as they are for their award winning pork pies.

When you support independent local businesses like these, not only do you get great food often sourced by the person you are talking to over the counter, but your money also goes back into employing local people and ensuring Northamptonshire has a broad palate of options when we buy our food and drink.
You can find out more about Sauls and Smiths here:
To enter the competition to win a filled hamper (the goods pictured are representative) tell us in one sentence what your favourite food and drink treat is and why.
Email your answer to nenequirer@gmail.com with the subject line: NQ Hamper Competition.
The closing date is midday Thursday May 15.
The winner will be pictured receiving their hamper in the next edition of NQ magazine.
