It’s time for The Happy You Project

The NeneQuirer covered the launch of the engine workspace in Northampton last November. One of the new businesses that has sprung up there is The Happy You Project which has released the following statement…

On 25th February 2018, local entrepreneurs, Laura Graham and Paige Taylor will launch the first of their wellbeing workshops under “The Happy You Project”, which will take place at engine. 34/36 Abington Avenue, Northampton, NN1 4NY.

The workshops will run monthly with the first one taking place on Sundays 25th 10:00am – 1:00pm costing £30 per person, £22 for students. It will be a combination of 1 hour of yoga and 1 hour of positivity coaching covering confidence building and resilience. Topics for future workshops will include communication, recognising strengths and goal setting.

The Happy You Project brings three elements together in one workshop, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Laura Graham, founder of the positivity blog It’s Character Building, freelance writer and coach has a learning and development background and Paige Taylor founder of Saged Space, is a qualified yoga instructor and ayurvedic therapist. Together they realised that there was a need to design and deliver a practical, interactive workshop that provides a holistic approach to wellbeing.

Laura explains “We all live such busy lives, juggling so many roles and responsibilities, that we often forget to take time for ourselves. We are seeing the result of that in the demand for mental health services. We hope our workshops will give people the tools to look after themselves positively.”

The pair saw a need for this unique approach to rebalancing mind and body and are keen to put into action something that will positively impact their community.
