Small mistakes cost Saints big against classy Ulster

Advertisements

If Saints had more wins behind them this would have felt closer than it did. Ulster got a good start but Saints ducked and dived their way back into it.

It even looked like we had survived the sin binning of scrum-half Alex Mitchell but an Ulster score sent Saints into the last 15 minutes needing two scores for a result.

The fact that one of those scores came with time left on the clock for a restart added an unexpected shot of adrenaline to the final seconds but it was not to be.
